The Sibley item number (following after /1802/ in the persistent URL) is used as the default variable for this template: {{Spill|1234}} generates:

A message regarding a Sibley item can be recorded briefly by adding a second variable:

{{Spill|1234|0}} for items under copyright in Canada and US:

In theory the 0 variable should never need to be used, as Sibley should not have infringed US copyright!

{{Spill|1234|1}} for items in the public domain only in the US:
