Secção Chopin

History

Secção Chopin was a music store in Rio de Janeiro owned by Faria & Pinheiro. They started to publish music around 1914 (plates F.P. ###). In 1915 Manuel de Faria remained as the only owner of the publisher (new plate number: M. F. ###). By 1920 the publishing house was sold to Porfirio Martins & Cia. (owner of the music store A Guitarra de Prata since 1903).
