Misc. This arrangement is based on the composer's score and arranged according to the formation of modern wind ensemble (mainly in America and Japan). The trio part of this song uses the melody of the Scottish folk song "Auld Lang Syne". In Scotland it is comparable to the national anthem and is sung at various gatherings. On the other hand, in Japan, this song is popularly known as "Firefly Light" and has a strong image as a "farewell song". It is often used in closing scenes such as school graduation ceremonies and closing music of shops. This march will also be played more and more as the closing song at concerts.
