Extra Information Left hand part written by my dad, Dick Drehmer. This is my first music composition. After I wrote the right-hand part I showed my dad and he wrote the counterpoint. It shows how much music talent my parents have. They were both professional musicians -- teachers and performers in numerous instruments, especially voice. Decades after I wrote this, while I was in graduate school for Music Composition I stumbled upon a piece of Mozart and one of Haydn and realized that I had quoted these two composers in this piece so it is not particularly original. I had not meant to do this when I wrote it but I must have heard these somewhere as a child and incorporated them into my musical memory. That is why I put a painting of each in this video.
