Boleslas Koreywo (1843-1912) of Kiev and Odessa published both literature and music from 1874 to 1886. The works were mainly songs and piano pieces, including many by the local composers Michał Zawadzki (1828—1887) and Mykola Lysenko (or Lissenko) (1842—1912). Another, later, [Boleslas Koreywo] (1880-1934) was a distinguished literary figure.
