from the preface: All the Musick is corrected and revis'd, and several Tunes also Compos'd by our ingenious Organist, Mr. Costellow; A Gent who stands high in his Profession. The Treble he has Dotted, according to Dr. Miller's plan, and the Bass properly Figur'd, which has obvious advantages, especially to those who have not made much proficiency. Two Psalms & two Hymns are applied to each Tune, which will make an agreeable variety.
