The Romance (2nd movt variation 5) was published as a solo for violin or viola or cello and piano. Hofmeister's Monatsbericht (1899), p.148

The violin part has Allegro ma non troppo, and Andante rather than Andantino at the beginning of the 2nd movement. There are recordings of this work on Naxos (2019) and Etcetera (1996) as well. Several sources agree that the work was composed, as well as published, in 1898, though some more definite evidence would be good- an ms?
