Violin solo part not included. Also, parts are incomplete if the concerto did in fact include trumpets and timpani. PDF split of Cypressdome's "Complete Orchestral Parts" file (#291556) by Sallen112. Possibly the 1824 edition mentioned by White.

The parts published by Janet et Cotelle (at least in the copy available at BNF) do not include trumpets and timpani. Did the work in fact include them?

As to J&C dates one really should use the Bibliographie de la France & other sources to start to construct a Plate Table for that publisher- better sooner than never...

I think the instrumentation list at Free Library of Philadelphia is based on their manuscript score and parts (edited: which could be a ms. copy of the first edition, or could be copies of the autograph... ??), which I'm assuming (assuming anyway) do include those parts or equivalent information in the score (Fleisher Collection, Call no. 1050V ENTIRE WORK), but I may be mistaken. Perhaps write someone at FLP to ask? - Schissel

(Pub. in 1824, acc. to Chappell White, "From Vivaldi to Viotti: A History of the Early Classical Violin Concerto", p.335. Ms. score @ FLP is not an autograph, which does not survive, though conceivably could be a copy of the autograph- or of a published edition. Those of nos. 27 & 28 @ FLP might be autographs (or photocopies more likely- one guesses the BNF has the autographs themselves), or might be some other mss...)
