Navigation etc.

  • Solos: S in Offertorium and Sanctus; SA in Benedictus and Agnus.
  • Composition date and librettist from DUX 0720. This mass is mentioned in 2 Moniuszko's letters: 1856 (November 21) letter to Adam Kirkor and 1857 (April) letter to Jozef Sikorski. Performed in Vilnius (St. John's church) on 1857 Good Friday.
  • The text is nearly the same as in Moniuszko's Polish Mass in E minor, so there is no doubt it was written by Odyniec.
