Perhaps one of his more popular works; besides the original publication in 1860, arranged for piano by Jul. Berg and published in 1862 (by Spina, one of Hölzel's other publishers), then also in 1863 as one of Franz Behr's op.11 Perlen (pub.1863) , by D. Krug, Theodor Oesten, a Polka derived from it by its own composer (also by Kistner, 1868/69), then republished in a new edition by André in 1869 (then etc.) Later and through 1881 one sees arrangements (including again for zither- one would like to hear more of that instrument perhaps, once so popular it had a section in each issue of HMB) , some two dozen or so mentions (at least?) up to 1881 (perhaps none after that though.) - Schissel (correction: see Hofmeister's Monatsbericht (1917), p.64, a publication of opp.105 and 110 by Carl Rühle in 1917.)
