- According to Cecil Hill, Ferdinand Ries: A Thematic Catalogue, Ries mentioned offering this work to Cramer (London) in a letter to his brother Joseph dated August 1, 1833. Also, Schuberth's title page erroneously assigns the work opus 176 (note on the SBB cover that it has been corrected by hand to 175).
